For the past couple of days I have been pondering a lot about designing and where I want to go with it all. It all started when I listened to this episode of the Paperclipping Digi Show. If you have not listened to it yet… run, do not walk! lol I have been designing for awhile now but mostly commercial use products and fonts. Truly love it doing it but would like to create some kits, get a bit more creative with color, themes and such.
Anyways, I was totally intrigued by the Sunshine Girl story and thought it would be fun to find other newer digi designers that would be interested in getting together for a freebie collab. Think it is such a great idea to connect with other designers to push ourselves to be better and hopefully form some friendships along the way. If anyone is interested in this concept too… please feel free to contact me via the contact button. 🙂 If you do not know what i’m yabbering about go listen to the show. Truly inspiring! 🙂
Also, a fantastic read for newer and seasoned designers alike is Sugarplum Paperie’s articles focusing on getting started in digital design.

I am a newer digi-designer and would love to do a freebie collab with you. I was in the designer survivor competition, which was my first experience with collabing with other designers. I love it, but haven’t had the chance to do a true collab since.
