Happy Thursday! It is also “Do a Grouch a Favor Day”. LOL I always love cheering people up and doing little things to bring a smile to someones day. Especially a grouch. It’s always fun just to see their reaction.
Do you have a grouch in your life who could use a favor? A couple days ago I pulled together a few envelops, decorated them and put something I thought would be nice in each one along with a sweet note to have a fantabulous day. The things I put in my envelops were an iTunes card so that they can go download a cheery movie. Starbucks card- an iced Cinnamon Dolce always snaps me out of a funk. A bookmark- with a funny quote and cute illustration. A mask- You can get packets of great masks for individual uses everywhere. These are always nice and relaxing. Movie Tickets- It gets them out and about to go see a movie of their choice. Amazon card- Awesome for those book readers.
If you do not have time to put together envelopes you could always just hop on over to iTunes or Amazon and gift a funny tv show, uplifting movie, fantastic song or playlist, enlightening book or fun game.
In these times money can be tight and you do not need to spend a dime to fill your envelopes. You could put little uplifting notes with funny doodles in them, make coupons for them with some sort of favors they may use, write out a favorite recipe or two, compile a list of compliments or favorite things you like/love about them, share your favvy jokes, make a happy movie list, happy book list, happy music list. Just a few ideas here but use your imagination as the possibilities are infinite.

Right now I am absolutely LOVING the Kiss Me Dingbat font. I have been having fun making papers, scatters, and just clustering everything with them. It actually includes two fonts – 1 solid and one corresponding with matching outlines. So Fun!

It’s snowing here in Colorado like crazy! So much that I am stuck in the house all weekend. Hope everyone is keeping warm and getting ready for Super Bowl Sunday!! Looking forward to all the good munchies during the game. That’s the best part right?!
Small update today – added two new texture packs and four new packs of grungy edges. I all the edges for adding more depth and dimension to my papers. They are tons of fun and so useful for changing up your existing overlays and papers.

We get 168 hours each week.. I sleep about 7 hours per night and at 7 nights that is 49 hours, leaving me 119 hours each week to work, play and do things I LOVE!
Take it a step farther and subtract the hours you work. Say you work 40 hours a week? That still leaves you 79 hours in your week. It’s really interesting to take a good look at what we are going with our time. It was extremely enlightening for me.
When I started keeping track and accounting for my time, I realized that I was oblivious to how my time was being spent. I had lots more time that could be utilized productively, doing things that would make me happy. I was shocked at the amount of time that was being wasted on absolutely nothing that really mattered or was necessary. Total time wasters. Each week that I have kept track of, I have learned something new about myself and time management. Now I see myself getting more work done and doing things that actually bring more meaning & joy into my life.
I love list making! I make lots & lots of lists. Lists of things I want to do, To-Do lists, Workshops & Classes, Ideas, Workouts & Health, Projects, Books to read, Beauty & Pampering must do’s, Happy movie lists, Happy songs lists, and the list goes on and on! With all these things I need/want to do, I have to make sure I am spending each hour of the day in a way that supports them. I used to think I was way too busy to do anything on these lists and had just wrote them off as dreams and stuffed them in the back of binder to collect dust. Not true.
Everyone will have a different experience in doing this. We are all unique individuals with different schedules, wants & needs. I’m sharing my worksheets that I use to keep track of my activities throughout the week. There is 2 of them – The first, is a pdf file that has the whole week on it. The second is a daily PDF that would require a new sheet each day. I prefer the daily sheets because I need more space to write on, so I can actually read what was written. If your good with shorthand the weekly would be easier to carry around and less paper to print up. It’s all personal preference. I like to print out seven sheets, one for each day of the week on pretty pastel colored paper, run it through a hole punch and stick it in my planner so I always have it available.

WooHoo, so happy Friday is here. I have set aside this weekend to do all sorts of girly things and other stuff that I just plain enjoy! It’s my happy happy weekend. Plan to share more later this weekend, along with a fun printable.
Added a couple of new goodies to the shoppe last night. Some fun arrows that I just LOVE for art journaling and little embellishments for kits. A layered alpha, topped off with cute stitching and a set of paper templates to match the sweet arrow set. Also, put together a little blog gift for you all that would be perfect for all the Valentine kits or layouts that are being worked on this time of year. This weekend has been filled with lots of relaxation, pampering, working out, planning, studying and of course family time. Weekends like this, give me time to reflect and realize just how truly blessed I am!
I added some more Valentines goodies this morning to the shoppe. It has been awhile since I created a style collection, so I just had to make one. Made sure to add all my favvy valentine colors to this set. Also, added some embosslet styles which are a spin off from the embosslet overlays I have available. These are great for adding transparent, embossed patterns over your flowers, frames etc.. You can add darling embossed hearts to anything and any color you wish.
Did you know that today is National Hugging Day? Be sure to go give someone a hug! Hugs always make me happy and can often put a smile on the grumpiest of grumps.

My sister and niece sent over these photos over their dog “Maddie”. They are always dressing her up in the cutest little clothes and spoiling her rotten. She even has a little pair of UGGs… how cool is that?!
