I am not a huge fan of wasting endless amounts of time in front of the television when we could be kicking butt + awesomizing our life. BUT if my creativity decides to take a hike, PMS strikes <–(read-homicidal rage), I catch a serious case of the blues or I’m simply having a bad hair day… You know – one of those days when nothing seems to be going right?
A little Cinematherapy is in order. Time to get caught up + lost in a flick that does not require thinking.
I compiled this list at the beginning of the year as one of my go toโs when Iโm having a sucky day.
Disconnect. Turn off the computer. Turn off the phones, ipads, and all other gadgets that let people and other distractions into our lives. Put on some super comfy clothes, throw your hair up, slap on a mask (you know – the green kind that drives your husbands and boyfriends wild), grab a cupcake and totally immerse yourself into a movie.
You should now feel ready to rock the rest of your day or get a fab nights rest… depending on what time it is. If not, repeat!
I will be adding to this list over time and if you have any suggestions I would LOVE to hear them. ๐

I came across your blog tonight and wanted to leave a movie for you to add to your list ๐
Keanu Reeves and Aitana Sรกnchez-Gijรณn in A Walk in the Clouds (1995)
I’m not giving you a preview – I never had one and I really enjoyed it ๐

and another if you haven’t seen it. It’s a really funny comedy/romance ๐
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel in Overboard ๐
It’s an 80’s movie, but I watched it a couple of weeks ago, laughed just as much, maybe more.
